Where the Wild Things & Underpaid Disney Princesses Are
A weekly dose of joy, inspiration & whimsy along with exclusive, never-before-seen strips reserved just for my cherished subscriber babes.
Hey everyone,
It’s certainly a whirlwind of celebration with World Book Day, International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day all falling within the same week! I'm diving in with illustrations, showcasing both old favourites and new, to celebrate all three occasions. I hope you enjoy! xo
POP! GOES THE TIMELINE
With every World Book Day that passes, I just can't resist putting my own spin on a classic children's tale. This year, I chose to remix the timeless favourite, "Where The Wild Things Are."
What was your fave book growing up?
PREVIEWS OF THE WEEK
Later today, I hope to be celebrating International Women’s Day with these satirical illustrations below:
Here is a teaser (as I will post the rest on socials in a bit!); I will be posting this without the third frame below only because I didn’t have enough space to flesh out my whole idea, so you get to see what everyone else won’t!:
THROWBACKS OF THE WEEK
This illustration is one of my International Women’s Day faves!
A couple of years ago, I was commissioned by adidas to create a window display in Carnaby Street, London, for their International Women’s Day activation. It was a fun project!
For my paid subscribers, I've included one of my favourite Mother’s Day illustrations where I reimagine Marge Simpson as a Black mother.
I also will be sharing 30% off any of my cards on Thortful with a cheeky discount code!
